Leaf sweepers are also known as lawn sweepers. This tool is used to mechanically remove debris from your lawn, such as pine needles, twigs, leaves, litter or grass clippings. They have a rotating brush mechanism where the brush sweeps up the debris and puts it away in a collection bag for disposal. The height of the hopper or the collector can be adjusted to suit your comfort level. This tool is basically used for gardens that are relatively small in size. You can use either simple leaf sweepers which are maneuvered by man and resemble simple lawn mowers or purchase power lawn sweepers which use motors.

Edge Trimmer

This tool is used for edging and trimming of the grass and cutting weeds. It is also called a weed-whacker or a weed eater. Typically, edge trimmers are powered by motors and contain a gas engine. These consist of a cutting head that is present at the end of a long shaft. The tool uses a mono filament line instead of blades for cutting purposes.

Spading Fork

It is also known as a garden fork or a graip and possesses flat tines. It is designed to turn soil, lift plants and separate perennials. As compared to shovels, the spading fork is less arduous to use when digging hard soil. The tool can be used to conveniently part grass and perennials. Its use is similar to that of a spade, but it is more appropriate. It can break up clods and rake out weeds and stones.
